I don't have any wedding photos, but this picture is earliest that I have of them together.  It was taken in the 1920s.
Roy & Bertha Peterson; Unknown Date; taken in Missouri
Roy Peterson lived in Vada, Missouri when he met Bertha Lawson.  Vada is a small community in Texas County, Missouri.  According to Texas County Place Names, 1928-1945, a post office was located there from 1918 to 1929 and Vada is a shortened form of Nevada Jackson, the postmaster's daughter.

According to family legend, Roy F. Peterson was a mail carrier when he met Bertha Lawson on his route.  The newspaper, The Houston Herald (Houston, MO) shows that route was from Success to Houston (MO).
